Ramp-On with Pockyt

Introduction

Ramp-On allows you to fund your Pockyt merchant account with fiat (USD via wire) instead of USDC. We handle the USD → USDC conversion on our rails, so you can keep a USDC balance inside Pockyt and use it to power your payouts.

How It Works

Merchant Flow:

1. Initiate a wire transfer in USD to Pockyt (we’ll share bank instructions).
2. Pockyt receives USD and converts it to USDC via our internal rails.
3. We credit your Pockyt USDC balance.

You use the same Payouts API as in the Payouts Guide to send payouts, drawing from your USDC balance.

Payee Flow:

• Requests payout in your app → Payout is processed using your USDC-backed balance → Receives funds through the configured payout method (e.g., bank account) → Never has to deal with USDC directly.
